Flue Liner North London
We are installers of chimney flue liners for gas fires and stoves in London
Lining a chimney fireplace is highly recommended by Gas Safe and HETAS during all installations, particularly for older properties for all solid fuel stove installations.
Chimney lining proves safer than standard masonary chimney stacks as it has greater integrity and is more efficient, helping prevent condensation. The installation of a chimney liner also stops the risk of smoke or fumes leaking into other parts of the building (fire risk).
Current regulations state that any chimney of 12 metres and more in height must be lined before gas or solid fuel appliances are installed.
GRADE 316 Flue Liner
Is suitable for use with all standard gas fires, oil and solid fuel (logs, coal, anthracite etc) appliances.
Multi Fuel Chimney Liner – 150mm – 904 GRADE
A high grade stainless steal liner which is generally installed for slumbering purposes. In addition, when a stove is left biting coal or anthracite overnight at low temperature; this creates condensation, especially in the high regions of the line. As coal and anthracite have a high acid content, this then causes corrosion in the liner and grade 904 is more resistant to this.
Gas and well seasoned logs does not have the same affect.
